Ye-Amlak Lijoch Foundation (YLF) marked its fifth anniversary with a series of events celebrating its achievements and the community it serves.
The grand celebration took place at Ras Hotel on June 28, 2025, bringing together alumini, friends, staff, and supporters of YLF. The event featured inspiring speeches, including an opening address from YLF Board Chair as well as a representative of the Addis Ababa City Administration Women, Children and Social Affairs Bureau, and a presentation by YLF’s Manager highlighting five years of impactful service.
A panel discussion, titled “Pathways to Hope: Towards Sustainable Change for Vulnerable Mothers and Childre,” was also held engageing panalisys and attendees in meaningful dialogue. A series of video clips also featured showcasing YLF’s programs and contributions to beneficiaries.
The post-anniversary activities spanned four days, offering opportunities for new friends to experience YLF’s services firsthand. Highlights included a graduation celebration hosted by a YLF friend, Ms. Marsilas, who pledged to serve as an ambassador for the foundation. Additionally, engagments and generous contributions from Senbet Foundation, Love and Care. Students of School of Tomorrow and Young Life provided training and resources for YLF moms.
The anniversary has not only strengthened existing partnerships but also attracted new supporters and members. As YLF embarks on its next chapter, it remains committed to empowering vulnerable mothers and children in the community.
